Friday is a big day for many women across the world. And probably lots of gay men. And potentially a few straight men, because they're hoping for a glimpse of some boob.
It's the Sex and the City movie!
I already have plans to see it after work on Friday with my desk mate at an inexpensive, independent theatre near our office. But another friend mentioned that she had heard it's already sold out across the GTA on the opening night! Yikes! So my desk mate and I scoped out our location today and were rudely informed that tickets won't be on sale until Thursday afternoon. Phew! It's probably the only place in the city that doesn't sell tickets online ahead of time.
And do you know what's even better? It's only $8.95! In fact, I still have about that much left in my wallet this week, so the cost of the ticket can come out of this weeks budget instead of next weeks! Bonus.
So the countdown is on. My fingers are firmly crossed that it won't suck. Although I don't know how I could truly hate it, given that there's supposed to be about 300 costumes in it. And sometimes cute (or undeniably chic) costumes can save a so-so movie for me.
Total debt: $6999 and a bit (My interest is fast-approaching, so I may have to delve back into the $7000s again. Unless...)
